"Another thought, just because your eyes are at the top end of your body you don't have to take all photos from this height. Bend, crouch, kneel and see what different perspectives you can find. Anything to try to make your image different and more interesting. But you have only just started Debbie and you will find that improvement will follow rapidly. Especially if you get a nice day with a bit of sun.....that alone will spur you on. But whatever you do, don't give up...we are here to help and will do what we can. Said i before but spend some time looking through the image on the site and you will soon pick up ideas and reap the benefits." - Dave John(14th July 2012)

"If your intention is to have someone in a shot, make sure they are in it!!!! Its also preferable to have them looking 'into' the image. A very good 'rule' not that I like that word is the 'rule of thirds' for composing your image. Take too long to explain here but try typing that into google and it should give you loads of results. It is a fairly safe method of 'guaranteeing' a balanced composition" - Dave John(14th July 2012)

Wet and Windy Hunstanton
"Much better effort Debbie, horizon as level as can be and not in the centre. A central horizon can work but generally needs strong sky and foreground. " - Dave John(14th July 2012)
