"Beautiful! A little boat on the river, under the shade of the trees, and this would be a lovely spot. " - Sue H(18th July 2014)

"This is beautiful! My eye is drawn to a circle made by the trees. An optical illusion but fascinating none-the-less. " - Sue H(18th July 2014)

" Excellent church interior John, same comment as last picture- I wonder what history the church holds. I have quite a few church and cathedral pics that have not seen the light of day- must dig them out." - Vince Hawthorn(18th July 2014)

" Truly a dark and curious corner, do they really mean they are attracting wildlife and wildflowers or is that one way of making savings in all these cutbacks? Either way, the stone is an interesting piece from times gone by- wonder what history it holds." - Vince Hawthorn(18th July 2014)

" Nice one Ruth and a good text. ( do you call that a rockery or a water feature?)" - Vince Hawthorn(18th July 2014)

" Dave has just said what I thought Ruth, you want to get in there and slow it down a bit more to see the different effects. See two of my pics of Cobham, 1140248 and 1140249 (POE id Nos), Taken at the same time and same place- just altering shutter speed. ( oh and for some reason I have turned the pics upsidedown cos to me they look better that way ). I like the scene , it reminds me of St.Nectan's Glen and the Kieve, and that is another place to put on your visit list." - Vince Hawthorn(18th July 2014)

"Nice pic Ruth. As to the water it looks fairly sheltered so the 'auto' would set an average exposure which may have slowed the shutter somewhat. " - Dave John(18th July 2014)

"good bit of reading here Ruth. Had many a good weekend in Dent in my cycling days, just the odd hangover!!" - Dave John(18th July 2014)
