Photo of Rotherfield Greys by: Edward Lever

St. Nicholas Church, Rotherfield Greys
"Thank you for the comment, Paul. The tower appears perfectly vertical because it was my intention for it to appear so. After all, it is the main feature of the building, and the eye gets drawn to it. There is always some leaning with these wide-angle shots, and a judgement must be made as to the main feature you want to be vertical. I know correction is possible using Lightroom or similar applications, but in my opinion the result often looks un-natural. My usual approach is to try to get the result I want at the time of shooting." - Edward Lever(10th July 2019)

Chilham Castle Garden
"Another fantastic image. For some reason Chilham Castle was listed under a place called Wye, so I've now moved it to Chilham, which looks a really wonderful village to explore with its square and old timber-framed buildings. " - poe(10th July 2019)

Chilham Castle
"Isn't PoE wonderful. Isaw these pictures and thought ar first there was a spelling mistake. I'd hear of Chillingham Castle but I didn't even know of Chilham Castle. Thank you for a lovely set of pictures, Paul, which show me how much I am missing. You have a wonderful series here illustrating Chilham." - Mobscooter(10th July 2019)

Photo of Rotherfield Greys by: Edward Lever

St. Nicholas Church, Rotherfield Greys
"An excellent shot of a most interesting church. I can't quite understand though why the tower appears perfectly verticle and the right hand part of the building is not." - Paul V. A. Johnson(9th July 2019)
