Photo of Oxwich by: Stephen Thaw

Oxwich bay, south wales
"How very unusual is the lighting on this picture, Stephen, and how well you captured the dual nature of the light. What could be an afternoon picture to the left, seems to be more like a last glimpse of twilight on the right, but it has colour in it from the sky, more of an early morning or afternoon. Really unusual! " - Adrian Mctiernan(9th March 2011)

Photo of Ely by: Jason T

Chick, Ely, Cambridgeshire
"What amazing control of shallow depth of field - some skilled work there, Jason. I love mum watching over little ducky, and you have captured that so well. Very good and professional - I will have to see your others. Best of luck for the future, Jason" - Adrian Mctiernan(9th March 2011)

Photo of Robin Hood's Bay by: Ted

Sheep
"Wow, Ted - the old adage, 'Never work with children and animals' obviously does not apply to you - that ie either remarkable timing and positioning on your part, or sheer good luck - either way, a great sheepy family portrait - I suspect the two in front are the sons of the one in the back, but just a guess. Much admiration for your skill!" - Adrian Mctiernan(9th March 2011)

Photo of Bournemouth by: Mick Carver

Alum Chine Bournemouth
"This is one of the best photos I have ever seen showing light in the air - those beautifully captured rays, and the quiet calm of the trees and back-lit leaves. What a very accomplished photographer you must be. Many thanks for your kind comment on one of my pictures, too - much appreciated. I will keep an eye for your photos, as I think you will be able to teach me something more than I presently am using. " - Adrian Mctiernan(9th March 2011)
