Overlooking Tintern Abbey.
"I used to live in Brockweir two miles from here....... The ruins of St. Mary's Church (Medieval in origin) was virtually rebuilt in 1866-68. While much of the church is still clearly visible today, a fire in 1977 left the building in ruins." - Patrick Hogan(25th May 2012)

"Beautiful pic Pat, must be due to hatch soon, the swans we have seen have their family already. ( thanks for all your comments Pat, re the narrowboat, no not ours, stopped at the pub at the lock at Pyrford and bumped into someone we know, he had arrived on the boat for a beer and the boat belonged to his brother in law I think. Apart from not ever affording something like a narrowboat, Lisa would not be able to get on one let alone going down the steep steps inside.)" - Vince Hawthorn(24th May 2012)
