Hyde Market. Hyde is a small town in Cheshire. It lies at the extreme eastern end of the old county almost as far from the county town as it possible to get in the shire. Its old borders are with Derbyshire and Lancashire. Now it is part of Tameside Metropolitan Borough in the county of Greater Manchester.
