Statue of Sir Edward Elgar, Cathedral Green, Hereford Sculpted by Jemma Pearson, this bronze, life-sized statue was unveiled in 2005 by mezzo-soprano Dame Janet Baker. It is situated on Cathedral Green, Hereford, and depicts Elgar with his bicycle that he nicknamed 'Mr Phoebus'. Cycling was a favourite pastime of the composer. 15th century Wye Bridge, Hereford A 15th century bridge that crosses the River Wye. This Grade I listed bridge was rebuilt in the 17th century and widened in 1826.
