Millbrook Bridge Near (Llangenny)

Millbrook Bridge Near (Llangenny)

Millbrook Made up of just 5 dwellings and criss-crossed by streams, the hamlet of Millbrook sits ½ mile from the village of Llangenny. Surrounded by lush gardens and fields of livestock, the cottage itself is reached via a bridge over a stream. Millbrook sits alongside the banks of the river Grwyney, and also boasts an enormous and beautiful Sweet Chestnut tree, which is said to date from as far back as the 12th century. Numerous footpaths and bridleways give access straight from the cottage to routes to the nearby Sugar Loaf Mountain and many other trails all over the Brecon Beacons. A short walk takes you into the parish of Llangenny, a village of just over 100 people. The local pub ‘The Dragon’s Head’ offers local ales and fantastic food.
