The new Market Hall

This "new" Carmarthen Market Hall was opened in thev 1980's when the market complex was re-modelled. This hall has now, too, been replaced by yet another market hall which lacks any character at all and looks like a number of "coffins" in a large box!

Alas, no more! This delightful house and its grounds, an oasis of peace in the centre of town were deliberately destroyed in a wanton act of vadalism by the local authority - and for what? To allow supermarket development!
