Stour Valley Summer, Shillingstone.
Verbena Bonariensis seems to thrive in this part of Dorset. This particular plant measures over six foot in height. The small, tightly packed flower heads on the tall stems, attract a large variety of butterflies. This Green-veined white (Pieris Napi), seems to be keeping an eye on me during its' brief visit to the plant. - Graham Rains (photographer)
