Brograve  Mill

Brograve Mill

A short walk from Horsey Mere will bring you to Brograve Mill on the banks of Waxham New Cut.Built in 1771 it is thought it last worked around 1930 & was built to drain the levels. Now well derelict it has a distinct westward lean to it & is unsafe to enter. Luckily it can not be reached on foot though. Sept 2014

Horsey windpump

This iconic NT windpump was working up until 1943 when it was struck by lightening & taken over by the NT in 1948. It is now grade 2 listed.
