Canons Ashby Manor House

A grade 1 Elizabethan house built around 1550 by the Dryden family now owned by the NT. John Dryden inherited an L shaped farmhouse & gradually extended it over the years to how it looks now.The house was close to collapse until the trust took it over in 1981.I took this in April 2014

Manor house

This grade 1 Elizabethan house was built by the Dryden family & is relatively unaltered since 1710. It was taken over by the NT in 1981. Taken this morning.
