Redisham Hall This was the home of Princess Caroline Murat - great niece of Napolean Bonaparte after she married John Lewis Garden. She really did not like living there in the country, she preferred the high life in Paris, Nice and London. In her book she recalled social life in Redisham in not very flattering terms and referred to Suffolk as one of the most stupid counties of England. When she died in 1902 ten years after her husband, the Hall was sold. Actually the Hall is situated in the adjoining village of Ringsfield where her tomb and memorial is situated, this is shown in the Ringsfield pictures.
