Rural views of the cathedral can be seen from the town path running from close to the cathedral to Harnham. Seen from this side the cathedral is unobscured by the city.

The elegant spire of the Cathedral rising above the trees of Harnham meadows

The 224ft spire rises above the meadows and trees. When seen from this view it must still look as inspiring today as it did when completed in 1320.

Swans by the Mill in Salisbury, Wiltshire

The city's former 18th century Mill Buildings have now been converted to shops and "The Mill" public house. Rebuilt several times and formerly known as the Bishop's Mill, it is believed to have been in use and used by the bishops of Old Sarum.
