Comparison of wide angle shot. Hi all. I’m quite keen on taking pictures using a wide angle lens (10-22mm), which I find useful for getting more of a subject in the frame when you can’t get far away enough for a “normal” lens to get all the subject in. However, this often leads to a perspective distortion, particularly on the verticals. Personally, I don’t mind that, but other people don’t like it. These two images are the same image, the first as taken with the wide angle, the second modified in an image editor to “correct” the distortion. I’m not looking for points:- I would just be interested in people’s opinions as to which looks better:- 1 Original 2 Corrected. Thanks for any comments.
