The East Buxton Lime Kilns. On the Monsal Trail.

The East Buxton Lime Kilns. These massive concrete buttresses were added to the kiln in the 1920`s. This kiln was opened in 1880 and worked right up till 1944. Quite an impressive structure.

Chatsworth Garden the Azalia dell it was a hollow full of the sensual delights from these fragrant shubs. A lovely place to spend an hour or two.
