A picture of Caythorpe The Anglican parish church in Caythorpe, Lincolnshire, is a noble and graceful building dedicated to Saint Vincent. Built of the local Ancaster Stone the church is cruciform in shape with a crocketed spire with flying buttresses rising from the crossing. The church was extensively remodeled 1861 after extensive damage occurred when the original spire collapsed onto the chancel roof in 1859 after it was struck by lightening This picture appears in the following picture tours: |
