Victorian Potsbox, Lusby, Lincolnshire Victorian postbox in the Lincolnshire village of Lusby. The brickwork suggests it has been relocated to its present position. Perhaps it came from outside the local post office which I couldn't locate, another closure ? This picture appears in the following picture tours: Camera Make: Canon Model: Canon PowerShot A540 |
St. Peter's, Lusby, Lincolnshire The archetypal country church at Lusby is dedicated to St. Peter. It lies down a quite lane in this sleepy little village situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is an ancient building with many Anglo-Saxon features. A church at Lusby is mentioned in The Doomsday Book (1086). It may well be one of the oldest churches in the Diocese. It underwent restoration in 1892.
