Watersmeet walk One of the most beautiful walks starting at the mouth of the river at Lynmouth, is Watersmeet owned by the National Trust. Taking about 45mins, the walk takes you along both high and low level paths, winding beside and over the river, displaying various waterfalls, and ending up at Watersmeet House, where you can relax for refreshments, and visit the National Trust shop. An attraction not to be missed if visiting Lynton and Lynmouth! This picture appears in the following picture tours: |
The Cliff Railway, Lynmouth Not to be missed is a trip up and down the cliff railway, which takes you between Lynton at the top, and Lynmouth at the bottom. Worked by water which is pumped up to the top to fill the tank below the carriage car, which in turn will travel down and return the empty carriage car to the top. Once at the bottom the water is emptied out, and the process starts again. This picture appears in the following picture tours: |
