A Winsley wasp

Quietly walking across a paving stone, this wasp was dicing with death. It did, however, survive to live another day when it flew off.

When flagstones get rained upon, they tend to dry in curious shapes and patterns. I came across this one and its shape was enhanced with bird droppings! This flagstone was noticed in Bradford on Avon, which is quite near Winsley.
