Church with 12th C. origins restored and extended by Blomfield in the 19th C. Poor stonework repairs have been carried out in the past including rendering walling stones and dressings with a cement based mortar which is failing. Areas of deeply eroded stonework and defective rainwater drainage system. High level stonework and plaster repairs have been successfully completed using funds from the Heritage Lottery Fund Grants for Places of Worship scheme, but further phase of repairs required for the lower level stonework and drainage.
