Parish Church of St Andrew the Apostle, Holt The Parish Church of Saint Andrew the Apostle was established in Holt before 1086, the year of the Domesday Book. The church is situated in the heart of the town at the end of Church Street, which is found behind the War Memorial, at the east end of what was the original Market Place. The Holt Flyer The 'Holt Flyer', a vintage London routemaster bus (RML2401, JJD 401D) meets most steam trains during the holiday season and conveys passengers to the town centre which is over a mile away from the station. This particular bus was delivered new to London Transport in January 1966 and served continuously in London until it was finally withdrawn from London service in October 2005.
