The winners of the trophy for Best Decorated Window was 'Art Decor' seen here outside their High Street premises with the trophy and certificate. The trophy is a new one, donated by Spennynews, the commmunity newspaper serving the area. The paper can also be read online at www.spennynews.com

Town Mayor Ian Harrington with wife Gill. He is holding a stuffed dog, which has been presented to him by the proprietor of the sideshow (behind) which will be used as a raffle prize at one of his fund-raising functions. Every Town Mayor raises money for a local good cause of their choice - usually raising in excess of £10,000, which is very good for such a small town.
