The narrow lane.

The lane leading down to the mine is worse than this, with a steep drop on one side.

The mine chimney stack.

Once it was discovered that the fumes were toxic from the tin making process, the chimney stacks were built further away from the works and the gasses were sucked along a tunnel and up the chimney.

Looks like days of old.

The only cloud in the sky drifted past just as I took this photo. It looks like it is coming from the chimney.

At the end of the lane there is a small car park. A short walk takes you to a small secluded cove.
