Smuggler's Museum at Jamaica Inn

You'll need to leave the A30 to stop and visit the museum and grounds. It was worth the detour. Another time I'd like to go into the inn and have lunch or dinner. The 'oldness' in the UK fascinates me.

An old anchor in the yard at Jamaica Inn

Several very large and rusty old anchors were used as decor in the courtyard in front of Jamaica Inn. Since I didn't think we were near water, I wasn't sure how it got there.

Jamaica Inn - Aug 2008

The inn is another very old landmark of Cornwall and England. Alongside it on the left, is the museum. There is an area to browse and another for a fee. I just browsed.
