The Church organ was built by Bovington's of London and was used for the Great Exhibition of 1851 and was installed in 1870 ... in St. Andrews Church at Slaidburn, in Lancashire.

Stained Glass

The East window at St. Andrew's Church at Slaidburn, in Lancashire ... depicting the visit of the Shepherds and the Adoration of the Magi is perhaps the most beautiful feature of the Church dating from 1869 - this is just a section of the stained glass.

As I entered the Church the light was just filtering through the window onto the flowers and the cross. It gave me a very spiritual feeling, the light wasn't anywhere else in the Church just that spot where I was standing and just for a brief moment it's one of those golden moments !! ...
