This is the new look Red Lion many including myself prefer the old Red Lion but still it is in the heart of the town & still does great service to the town & the tourists.

Just coming into Arundel over the bridge on the left you'll see these lovely modern flats built among the wonderful historic town.

In the heart of the town of Arundel, West Sussex

Enter through either two small narrow lanes into this fast square with some fine stores & places of interest. This runs along the walls of The Castle leading up to Arundel Cathedral

From the top of Arundel, West Sussex

A look from the top of the hill looking back down to the square. Good tip is don't try this after the full Castle tour unless you're REALLY fit.

Arundel town, West Sussex

This is the first shop you see opposite the Arundel Post Office as you come over the bridge into Arundel. Martins have been there for many years serving tourists with many ice creams since I can remember. Beside the store are some lovely small coffee shops & cafe's & cake stores.

I got halfway up the hill & spotted this store the condition these very old buildings are kept in are amazing. Worth a visit alone if you like history.
