Cottage Gardens
One of a series of images, featuring one of the oldest and most well-established cottage gardens in Shillingstone. Most villages in Dorset have an 'Open gardens' weekend, when the villagers open their gardens to the public. Usually this is in aid of a local charity. Some are members of the National Gardens Scheme. NGS is a nation-wide organisation putting gardens on display, to raise money for various charities. - Graham Rains (photographer)
