Effingham, Surrey Boldermere Lake where in 1965 the Beatles arrived to have their photograph taken for the LP cover 'Rubber Soul'. It was taken near the Rhododendrons by photographer Robert Freeman. Boldermere lake and the small ponds in the area support many unusual plants. As many as 20 species of dragonflies and damselflies have been identified in the area. The broad leaved woodland also supports a wide variety of plants, insects and birds, including woodpeckers, summer warblers and mammals including badgers, foxes, deer and a wide range of species of rodents.
