Fishing at Watendlath Tarn Watendlath is a small hamlet just a couple of miles south of Derwentwater and is owned by the National Trust. The tarn is stocked with Brown and Rainbow Trout and is a popular fly fishing lake. Its altitude and small population make this a very quiet and peaceful place.
