Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet Leaving Heathrow Via St Mary's Church at Stanwell

This was one of the last British Airways Jumbo Jet flights from Heathrow, as the airline progresses onto the larger, more economical and more environmentally friendly Airbus A380 for its long haul flights.

Qantas A380 Arriving at Heathrow

A massive Airbus A380 arriving at Heathrow from its journey half way round the world. The ability of this aircraft to carry over 850 passengers on such a flight, with better economy and lower emissions than Boeing's 747 was the beginning of the end for the Jumbo Jet.
