Conwy Castle and Harbour View Approaching Conwy from the east, via Llandudno Junction and crossing the River Conwy, the first feature of the town is the impressive 13th Century Castle on the left, while the marina is on the right. Some confusion exists over the town's administrative location, as Conwy is also currently a County Borough, but the town was previously in Gwynedd and before that in Caernarfonshire.
