The river near Natland and Sedgewick, Cumbria Within five minutes of my arrival at the river I had seen a kingfisher, four dippers, a great spotted woodpecker and three grey wagtails. The river Kent Access to the river is found about halfway between Natland and the A591, Hawes Lane crosses the river and there are footpaths either side.
