Swift....apus apus

This beautiful little bird was laying on the floor outside my front door today. He's uninjured but exhausted and has been to the local vet. I'm hoping he will make a full recovery and join the others soon. He is in my shed recovering after a nice drink of water and a mealworm.

The pond, Cave castle

Situated in the grounds of the castle, it's a popular spot for families with its' resident ducks and geese.

Cave castle

This castle has been converted into a hotel with restaurant, swimming pool and fitness room. There is also a fabulous 18 hole golf course in the grounds.
