The Seed, a huge granite sculpture at Eden The Seed is the centrepiece of the new building known as the Core, where all the non-living exhibitions are now housed. The Seed is carved from Cornish granite and weighs 70 tonnes. It has Fibonacci spirals carved onto its surface, which mirror patterns found in nature such as on a sunflower.
