Botallack Mine buildings, near St Just, Cornwall Botallack is an extensive and spectacular abandoned mine on the very edge of the cliffs near St Just in Cornwall. the iconic buildings are the two engine houses known as the Crowns. The climb down to them is so steep, it makes you wonder how the miners managed it in all weathers.
