River frontage at Deptford

Greenwich's less glamorous neighbour, and one of the more deprived areas of London, Deptford still has its hidden attractions. This is the river frontage near the entrance to Deptford Creek and the pontoons you see mark a deep water channel where big ships such as visiting warships and cruise liners can moor up before heading up river into the City.
