Halnaker Windmill, West Sussex

A footpath leading up to the hilltop where the windmill is passes wheat fields with wild poppies growing around them. The mill comes into view from the top down and the mile or so walk up from the main road is well worth the effort for the view at the top.

Halnaker windmill, near Chichester, West Sussex

Halniker Windmill sits on top of a hill not far from Chichester near the village of Halnaker. The view from the hilltop is fantastic and the mill itself is a local landmark. The tower is empty apart from the remnants of some old machinery attached to the sails at the top.
