View of Torbay from Zeneca Steps, Battery Gardens. Lovely view of Torbay from the steps leading into Battery Gardens, an English Heritage Scheduled Monument site of 14 acres of wooded parkland. Scheduled because the park contains the remains of the 1940 Wartime 'Emergency Coastal Artillery' battery site. Of the 117 built against Nazi invasion in 1940 only 7 remain.
