The Kings Room at Langtry Manor
With its original Jacobean four poster bed, inglenook fireplace with hand painted gold leaf scenes of Shakespeare and huge dome ceiling, the Kings Room was built for when the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) used to stay - in the house that was built for Love. Edward commissioned the new house as somewhere to get away with his mistress Lillie Langtry. Now it is run as a successful hotel - Tara Howard (photographer)
