Brown hawker dragonfly (female).....aeshna grandis
This beautiful female brown hawker is depositing eggs underwater. The eggs will adhere to the sticks or twigs and remain safe from fish until they hatch. I feel priviledged to have seen and photographed this taking place. - Andy Edwards (photographer)
