A picture of Royal Victoria Country Park Another view of Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley, Hampshire. Many exciting events take place in the park during the summer and Autumn seasons. The park is well attended at weekends when cricket matches take place. Football is played by junior team, training for their big day. Dogs find time to walk their owners here. Ramblers find time to walk the woodlands beyond the museum. There are views of the dingy races on Southampton Water, and various shipping and ferries also speeding up and down this busy waterway. Wild life abounds in the park. Rest on one of the many seats provided, or take a light tea or a cooked meal in the Victorian Tea rooms, where you can buy hand painted picture full of nostalgia.
