Snowy Dawn An image taken at Stubbers Green Pools which are situated on the road between Shelfield and Aldridge near Walsall in West Midlands. The pools were formed from old clay workings. The clay was used to make bricks for which this area is well known. These days the pools are a haven for birds and waterfowl. The larger birds, particularly swans regularly stop the traffic when crossing from one pool to the other. This picture appears in the following picture tours: |
