Balliol College, Oxford Balliol College was founded in about 1263 and is one of several Oxford colleges claiming to be the oldest in the city. The globe shaped sundial in this picture, entitled 'About Time' was unveiled in 2010 celebrating 30 years of women undergraduates at the college. The Sundial is also a time capsule containing the names and signatures of former female students and staff. Bridge of Sighs, Oxford The actual name of this bridge is Hertford Bridge, but it is popularly known as the Bridge of Sighs due to the its similarities with the Bridge of Sighs in Venice.
