Colossus rebuild at Bletchley Park This is a reproduction of the 'Colossus' computer, an impressive bit of 1940's high-tech built to decrypt the codes produced on the german 'Geheimschreiber' encoding teleprinter. 'Bombe' decoding machine, Bletchley Park. The first versions of these were invented by the Poles in the 1930's to decrypt enigma codes.
