All Saints Church at Godshill.

Looking towards the main door of the Church. Legend has it that the Church was originally to be built on a different , flatter site, but every night after the builders had left the stones mysteriously removed to the top of the hill where it stands today hence the name 'Gods Hill'.

The old village at Godshill.

I took this photo at the beginning of March before all the gardens are a riot of colour. Although it was lunchtime when I took it as you can see it was completely devoid of tourists which made it feel more tranquil and timeless.
