Abergwesyn Pass, Powys The Abergwesyn Pass is an old drover's track stretching for about 20 miles between the small village of Abergwesyn and the town of Tregar. The "road" is no more than a ledge in the hillside, and climbs from Abergwesyn, it's very steep and winds up over a series of hairpin bends, called the Devil's Staircase and on through thick forests. The road is very narrow with a steep drop down to the river, it was definitely an experience! This picture appears in the following picture tours: Camera Make: Canon Model: Canon EOS 600D |
