The first bridge in the world ever constructed of cast iron., designed by Thomas Pritchard. It's become a symbol of the British Industrial Revolution. The bridge wasn't designed or built humped--this is the result of the pressure exerted by the banks of the river, forcing the centre of the bridge upwards.
