The Old Lock Cottage

New Haw lock cottage on the - River Way Navigation - part of the Basingstoke Canal. This is one of the area's beauty spots and has a nice pub next to it ( The White Hart ).

Woodham Lock 4

Lock 4 in West Byfleet, the best part of the Flight as you can see for water side travel.

Quackers in Love

Taken on the Woodham Flight in West Byfeet, these two are part of the local wildlife even with this flight closed down everything still lives on.

Forever waiting

New Haw Lock at Scotland Bridge Road. Closed down for some time but still one of the best walks / rides in the area. This is lock 2 and part of the branch not used from Byfleet to Woking.

Looking towards the first closed lock.

Basingstoke Canal, Weybridge to Godalming that is still used and a great waterway. This is the starting point of the Graywell branch which is closed.
