I've been the last to see the Cathedral that day. And took some photos. The stuff of the Cathedral are all nice people, they let me enter although it was almost 10 pm.

The morning stars

I hope you like the photos and the Cathedral. It is very worth visiting, especially because it is often overlooked and simply forgotten. I have heard there the saddest morning prayer possible. There were only 4 people in the Cathedral. Two tourists and two priests. The lonely sermon in one of the oldest and most beautiful cathedrals in England. I hope my pictures will inspire the people to visit the forlorn cathedral and see it with their own eyes.

Starry night inside the cathedral

This is beautiful and ancient Carlisle Cathedral late in the evening. Just look into the windows of the triforium and you will see them...and they will see you. The golden stars specially lit to be seen from the outside. In ten minutes they will be turned out.
